Hi, my name is Yvonne Salazar and I am a 17 year-old, self-taught digital illustrator, graphic designer, and filmmaker based in Metro Manila, Philippines.
ABOUT ME
I first garnered and took on creative digital skills in 2016 as an expression to my interest in pop culture. Eventually, it progressed into becoming a tool for many publicity and promotional projects during my stay in Miriam College High School. Starting last May of 2020, I have launched social media platforms--namely Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube--to showcase personal works.
I will be taking further studies as an AB Communication student in the Ateneo de Manila University this August, 2020.
RESOURCES & PROCESS
What programs do you use?
I use Procreate for majority of my digital illustrations and simple animations. In some recent projects, I operate on Affinity Designer for graphic design. With videography, I use Final Cut Pro X.
What devices do you use?
I use an Ipad Mini 4 and a Macbook Pro 15. I also use a Canon Rebel T6i for videography and photography.
How long does it take to work?
For graphic designing and illustrations, it takes around 3-7 hours. On the other hand, it takes up to 5-hours to 2 days to edit a video depending on the duration film (average of 10 minutes) and whether or not I combine animation.
